I'm tired, drained, exhausted, and in need of a breather.
One more week Iris. Hang in there.
You can! You know you can.
One more week. And this shit will be over.
Jiayou, jiayou, jiayou!
I guess deep down within us, we are all vulnerable beings in need of a big hug every now and then. What we need is that moral boost and affirmation, that everything is going to be all right. (:

Note to self:
Get down to work and focus Iris. Hurry finish up your biography on Mao Zedong, cos' you still have a huge pile of work awaiting for you to accomplish.
Seriously, I would rather do a biography on Nat Ho than on Chairman Mao. Though Nat's life story may be short, but it is surely MUCH MORE EXCITING than Mao's. -.-
Stop whining Iris and GET DOWN TO WORK.
Go, go, go!
Anyways, I am extremely tickled by this photo posted by my classmate on fb. I guess he must also be tired of working on Mao's biography. HAHA.

Thank you:

我没有勇气去爱 - 暂时没有。
但我相信有一天,我会找回我对爱的那份期望与信心。

Mugging for Chinese history is seriously killing me softly inside. I HAVE NO INTEREST WHATSOEVER IN HISTORY AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY I HAVE TO STUDY MY ROOTS. SIAN.
Halfway into the chapter, i either a) Get distracted easily and find myself seeking the internet for a break - like now or b) Begin to feel extremely sleepy cos' it's HISTORY. =/
And i'm progressing very, very slowly with the two subjects. I haven't even touched law. Drats.
All the best to me, as i aim to cover 7 more chapters by Monday night. Well, it's not an aim actually, it's a
MUST.
MUST MUST MUST!!!!

I'm feeling vexed.
1) Endless readings.
2) Endless meetings.
3) Endless emails to send and reply.
AND THE MOST CRUCIAL OF ALL:
4) Deciding my internship company by next Monday.
I'm still very undecided on where I want to do my internship. IHG? Fullerton? Holiday Inn? Ritz Carlton? Mandarin Oriental? Resorts World at Sentosa?
God, send me a sign please, won't you? I'm lost.

This afternoon, the training manager from Fullerton Hotel came and spoke to us about resume writing and how to stand out amongst the vast number of graduates when applying for a job. While he introduced the Fullerton Hotel and its culture to us, I began to recall those beautiful memories six years ago, when I had my prom night in the stunningly beautiful, contemporary hotel.
I clearly remember i was awed by its grandness and sophistication. They even had an in-house violionist who played all through the day in the lobby. Though I wasn't entirely satisfied with the buffet dinner, the brief hours spent in the hotel's ballroom was sufficient enough to leave a lasting impression on me until this very day. I even proclaimed to my friends that I will hold my wedding banquet at Fullerton Hotel. =P
Six years on...and here I am, rekindling myself with Fullerton Hotel once again. I won't rule out the possibility that I may consider doing my internship there, as it was afterall, the first hotel that I fell in love with and which prompted me to pursue a diploma in Hospitality thereafter at TP.
Wish me luck! :D

Reading my Chinese history text always never fail to make me fall asleep. Seriously, no books have ever made me feel so sleepy whenever i start reading them except for this textbook. It is definitely some kind of amazing remedy to induce sleep.
So for those who have insomnia, may i recommend you to borrow this text from me. I'll be more than happy to help you fight insomnia. :D
Ok, enough of nonsensical ranting. It's time to head back to my HIGHLY EXCITING CHINESE HISTORY text. >.<
