I'll be right beside you dearEverything has been so fast. In 4 days' time, it'll b 2009. And there'll be many happenings awaiting for me next year. Endless school activities, my sis' wedding, my graduation and becoming another year older. At this juncture, I might as well use this space to pen down my resolutions for 2009.
1) Be happy. Smile more from the heart.
2) Be a better daughter, sister, and friend.
3) Attain good grades.
4) Get to work in my desired company for internship.
5) Keep up with my weekly exercise regime.
6) Make it a point to practice the 7 habits.
7) Enjoy life to its fullest with my loved ones!
The following are what i want to achieve/take up in the years to come.
1) Read widely. Complete at least 2 books once a month.
2) Learn to play a musical instrument, preferably the guitar or piano.
3) Contribute meaningfully to the society by volunteering at local charities.
4) Have a faith.
I hope besides penning these resolutions/activities down, i will be able to act them out. Oh, and what a better way to begin this act of 'walking the talk' by practicing the 1st habit now: Be proactive. Afterall, between stimulus and response lies our greatest power - the freedom to choose. And i've chosen to walk my talk. (:
