"We were written in the stars, my love,
all that separated us, was time, the time it took
to read the map which was placed within our hearts,
to find our way back to one another."

I absolutely love this story I came across on Natho’s blog. Hopefully I’m able to learn something from it, especially the last sentence..."Why are you still carrying her?" I should move on, I really should. Enjoy it anyways. (:
Letting Go
Two monks were traveling together in the rainy season. They came to a small creek, overflowing with heavy rains. There, they saw a lovely young girl in a silk kimono, unable to cross.
"Come on, girl, let me help you," said the first monk. Lifting her onto his shoulders, he carried her across. They walked on in silence till it was dark, and retreated to a lodging temple for the night. There, the second monk could no longer restrain himself and said, "We have precepts about not touching a woman. How could you so blatantly carry that girl on your shoulders?"The first monk replied, "I'd put her down long ago. Why are you still carrying her?"
